Why Add Essential Oils?
Essential oils give plants their characteristic aroma and flavor. When you peel an orange you are smelling its essential oils. When you walk through a pine forest and take a deep breath, you are smelling the essential oils in the pine needles. These essential oils are comprised of a variety of organic compounds called terpenes. When you peel an orange you are primarily smelling the terpene Limonene. When you rub pine needles together you are primarily smelling the terpene Alpha-pinene. Terpenes delight our senses, but their value goes even deeper.
Terpenes are used by our body’s Endocannabinoid System, along with CBD. Terpenes can connect with different receptors in our body and nervous system, resulting in different effects. The fact that you feel more relaxed when you smell Lavender is not just nostalgia, it’s science. For our Relax CBD line, we select essential oils with terpenes that calm the nervous system.
What Essential Oils Are Used in Our Relax CBD Products?
Here at Mission Farms CBD, we use a variety of essential oils in our Relax CBD products. Any essential oil we use in a product that is taken orally is on the FDA’s GRAS list — Generally Recognized as Safe as a food additive. Here are some of the oils we feature in the Relax CBD line:
Organic Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

Create a Wind-Down Routine with Mission Farms CBD Relax CBD
I have a friend who is an elementary school teacher. As you can imagine, September is exhausting as she rebuilds up her stamina for long days of shepherding and herding a classroom of kids. She has developed a wind-down routine in the evenings with three products in our Relax CBD Bundle.
